Chanel Your Inner Karl
Karl Lagerfeld was an original mind. And so are you. But are you embodying your originality? Are you expressing your passion and creativity in the fullest way?
My awesome colleague Michelle shared with me recently that she is a big fan of Karl Lagerfeld as I brought him up in a conversation we had around the topic of originality and people we label “original minds”.
Whatever you think of Karl, I am sure we can agree he was original. He was a non-conformist who left his mark on the world.
But what about all the other Karl’s who left the world with the dream that never came true?
What about Karl who hated his job at the insurance company?
What about Karl who always wanted to open his own agency, but remained an in-house designer working for a dick?
What about the millions of people who want to live out their truth, their passion, and originality, but who are held back by their fears, or bullshit stories?
The world needs more Karls.
The world needs your passion and originality.
And the only thing standing in the way of us getting to experience you at your best is something inside you.
The world needs you to be Karl.

I’ve been so obsessed with this idea for years that I’ve decided to step up and do something about it. I’d love to hear what you think.
We’re going to launch a sub-brand called Original Minds™.
The idea is simple:
We want to help as many entrepreneurs as possible solve the REAL problem, standing in their way of unleashing their originality and greatness.
The REAL cause of the results you’re getting is not what you do, but what you believe about yourself (your identity).
You are limited ONLY by the level of your thinking.
Your thinking leads to your emotions, which lead to your behaviors, which lead to your results.
Change your thinking, change your life.

In this sketch above, I try to illustrate what I mean.
The results you are getting are influenced by the beliefs you have about yourself (and the stories you tell yourself) to about 95%. About 5% is your conscious thinking and efforts in the conscious realm.
So to change, we need to dig deeper. We need to change our “programming”.
Back to Karl.
How came Karl did not end up working at a supermarket, suffocating his dreams?
I don’t have the answer, but I know whatever happened, it started in his mind. Everything starts with desire backed by faith and belief.
To channel your inner Karl, I suggest you need to work in three areas:
1. DESIRE
2. IDENTITY
3. MASTERY
The starting point of all achievement is desire.
How clear is your vision? How big is your dream? How grand is your thinking?
What makes you original?
What are you meant to do?
How can you make that real?
How can you show up and lead in your field?
How can you OWN your space?
How can you become a BRAND?
What do you believe to be true about yourself?
What are your standards? What won’t you tolerate?
What skills must you master?
What is your daily/weekly/monthly practice?
These are some of the questions we’re going to work with in Original Minds™
The outcome?
We want people to DREAM BIGGER
We want people to have bulletproof CONFIDENCE in themselves
We want people to EMBODY THEIR ORIGINALITY, to go out and build an AMAZING brand, business, and life as the person they were destined to be.
We’ll have two versions:
1. A membership service for people who want to make a transition (think $99-299 per month)
2. A mastermind group for people committed to a transformation (6-12 month commitments, lots of hands-on coaching, live meetings, etc.)
